Alice 2.0 has worked fine on my Windows XP machines. The program was placed on a network drive and the short cut placed in a student read-only folder. 

Alice 2.2 is working fine on the Window 7 machines.

Installed Alice on the individual machines, did not try a network install (yet), will do that next year -- if I use Alice again.
